Australia-ChinaThis year, the alumni will continue to host the 16th Australia-China Outstanding Alumni Awards selection and award ceremony.
We warmly invite all Australia-China alumni to participate in our annual awards, by self-nominating or nominating others to recognize alumni who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributions in their respective fields. These awards not only acknowledge individual excellence but also celebrate the strong ties and mutual benefits between Australia and China. Whether you or an alumni you know who graduated in Australia have achieved excellence in leadership, business, research, arts, or any other field, this is a great opportunity to highlight achievements and inspire others.
01Alumni Award Nomination Period
2024The 16th Australia-China Outstanding Alumni Awards nominations start today,9month15The deadline is today. Alumni can nominate themselves or others.This year's award ceremony will be held in11month.
02Nomination
This year's nominations and self-nominations can only be done online. Please click the nomination button below to nominate yourself or others.
Please note that you must register as anACAAmember to nominate. Currently, all membership registrations are free, and members can enjoy multiple benefits, includingACAAsupport partnersChina Eastern AirlinesandJD Australia Premium Pavilionairline ticket and shopping discount benefits.
When you nominate,you need to prepare and submit the following information:
·A brief statement of the reasons for the nominee's award;
·A short biography of the nominee;
·Nominee photo;
·Nominee resume (CV)
·If available, please provide links to qualifications and achievements related to the awardconnect
·Both the nominator and the nominee must be members of the Australia-China Alumni Association.You can register as a member for free here.
·One nominator is allowed to make multiple nominations for different nominees, and self-nomination is also allowed.
·After submitting the nomination, it will automatically become anACAAmember.
03Alumni Award Awards
This year,the alumni awards have opened10awards, of which8awards are open for nomination.The Australia-China Outstanding Alumni Award of the Year will be selected by the jury from the finalists of8awards,The Australia-China Alumni Association Alumni Choice Award will be voted by the association members during the selection stage,so these two awards do not need to be nominated separately.

The following awards are open for nomination:
Australia-China Outstanding Women's Leadership Award
This award aims to recognize and honor a woman who leads and inspires others. The nominee should demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the ties between Australia and China and significant achievements in their career. The award-winning alumnus can come from any field, including business, government, non-profit organizations, and academia.
Sydney Stock Exchange Australia-China Outstanding Business Achievement Award
Supported by the Sydney Stock Exchange, this award recognizes alumni who have achieved significant accomplishments in various business environments. The nominee's achievements can span their entire career or be a single outstanding achievement, the result of which not only enhances the performance of their organization but also fosters an internal company culture. This award aims to recognize established and emerging business leaders who demonstrate leadership, passion for their field, and commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Research and Innovation Award
This award recognizes alumni who have contributed to the research and scientific development of the Australia-China community. All nominees should have advanced the current knowledge in a specific field through significant research or innovation in an academic, corporate, or technical environment. The nominee's achievements can cover all academic and work fields (e.g., science, technology, medicine, or academic research).
Australia-China Young Alumni Award of the Year
This award is open to all alumni who are not yet35years old and are engaged in employment, community service, or volunteer work. All nominees should demonstrate integrity, initiative, and innovation and quickly become leaders in their field. This award recognizes the achievements of our young alumni and celebrates their outstanding talents, achievements, and contributions to the broader Australia-China community.
Australia-China Arts and Creativity Award
This award recognizes alumni who have achieved excellence in the arts and creative fields or those who have promoted the understanding and value of artistic and creative efforts. It aims to recognize creativity and success in one or more fields, including art and design, architecture, fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, advertising, publishing, and creative media. The nominee should possess the ability to use their creativity in novel ways, possibly by working across creative media, combining or introducing new concepts within the field, or/and introducing creative concepts to new/unique markets.Australia-China Alumni Enterprise Award of the YearThe Australia-China Alumni Enterprise Award of the Year recognizes enterprises or initiatives led by alumni that demonstrate outstanding success, innovation, and impact in the Australia-China environment. This award recognizes those who exhibit rapid growth, sustainability, and a commitment to promoting a positive relationship between Australia and China through their work. Whether through groundbreaking partnerships, innovative business models, or transformative solutions, the award winners embody entrepreneurial spirit, collaboration, and excellence in the global market.Australia-China Life Sciences AwardThe Australia-China Life Sciences Award recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions in the life sciences field through research, innovation, or leadership. This award celebrates individuals who demonstrate excellence in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or biomedical research, whose work has had a practical impact on society and the advancement of scientific knowledge. The award winners are those who embody the spirit of discovery, dedication, and excellence, committed to improving health outcomes and pushing the frontiers of life sciences.
Outstanding Alumni Award in Queensland
This award recognizes significant achievements of alumni in Queensland. This award celebrates outstanding performance in work, life, and community service and aims to recognize alumni who demonstrate excellence in their careers and/or philanthropic activities, supporting the strengthening of Australia-China relations and having the potential to influence and inspire others.
Study Queensland
is a Queensland government agency dedicated to promoting Queensland as a preferred study destination and a preferred partner for education, training, research, and innovation.
