Curtin University's TL Robertson Library won the Social and Community Infrastructure award at the 2024 Urban Development Institute of Australia WA (UDIA WA) Excellence Awards! This prestigious award recognizes the best projects in the urban development industry across Western Australia.This honor affirms the library's innovative renovation and modern facilities!
The library spans 19,280 square meters with 7 floors, located at the heart of Curtin's Perth main campus.It houses 230,000 journals, over a million e-books, and a variety of study spaces.Open 24/7 during term time.Come explore the library's rich resources and facilities!
Abundant Resource Borrowing
Curtin students can borrow resources from the collection without any limit, due date, or need for renewal, unless contacted by library staff via email, giving you more flexible time to complete your reading and arrange returns.
*Excluding resources with red tags (high demand), which can be borrowed up to two at a time, with a maximum borrowing period of four hours.
Copying and Printing Facilities
The library is equipped with multifunctional printers for copying and printing. After sending a print job, you can pick it up at other multifunctional printers across the campus. All printing facilities support both color and black-and-white printing.
Modern Computer Facilities
The library also provides ample PC and Mac computers, and laptops are available for borrowing, facilitating daily study and communication for Curtin students. Use your student account to log in for free access.
Diverse Study Spaces
The 7 floors of the library offer ample study spaces, whether for group discussions or individual study, you can find a suitable space here!
Independent and Group Study
Floors 4 and 5 have ample group discussion spaces. Floor 6is a quiet zone, suitable for independent study.
Bookable Study Rooms
The library has dedicated study rooms with presentation screens and whiteboards, which can be booked in advance for convenient study and discussion.
Reading Room
The reading room on the third floor is a relaxing study space where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Henderson Court.
Exhibition Area
There is also an exhibition area on the third floor, where various exhibitions are held from time to time. You can hold your personal exhibition here.
Maker Space
The maker space provides various tools and equipment, and you can also rent equipment here to inspire your creativity!
Student Kitchen
There are ample microwaves and hot water supplies here. If you forget to bring your lunch, there is also a café nearby.
Outdoor Terrace
There is an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor, lush and green, where you can relax and breathe fresh air during study breaks.
If you want to book a study room, you can do so online for free at any time, with a two-hour booking limit per person per day for some rooms.
