Professor Wickramasinghe said, "My vision is to ensure that everyone can access quality healthcare anytime, anywhere through digital health technology." Her research focuses on using emerging technologies to bridge healthcare gaps, especially improving accessibility in remote areas. She also stated that true change can only be driven through joint efforts between academia and corporate partners, "These books aim to educate and empower readers in the healthcare field, whether they are researchers, clinicians, or hospital CEOs."

At the forum, Professor Wickramasinghe had a dialogue with ANDHealth Chairman Gavin Fox-Smith, discussing the themes of her new books in depth. Randi said:"The internship provided me with the opportunity to apply my professional skills in practice, and the university-industry collaboration also allowed me to gain valuable Australian work experience."
