officially kicks off!

What are the highlights to look forward to?

What is the process like?

The University of Canberra graduation ceremony will be held at the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC). Graduates need to arrive at the venue90 minutes before the ceremony starts90minutesto complete check-in, gown wearing, and take photos with family and friends.

At30 minutes before the ceremony starts30minutes, please be seated.

Overview of the ceremony day process:

-The Chancellor delivers a speech, announcing the start of the ceremony.

-Before the degree conferral ceremony, an usher will lead you from your seat to the side of the stage to wait.When your name is called , you can go on stage to approach the Chancellor, receive your degree folder, and take a photo with the Chancellor.

-After receiving the award, continue to the other side of the stage, where an usher will greet you. Our staff will distributegraduation certificates and academic transcriptsbelow the stage, and guide you back to your seat to continue watching the ceremony.

-The ceremony will last approximately2hours. After the ceremony, students can be guided by staff to enter the exhibition hall to continue participating in subsequent celebration activities (Afterparty), enjoying snacks, drinks, music, and taking photos with family and friends.
