ShanghaiOn October 14th, the University of Adelaide SEM delegation arrived in Shanghai, the first stop of their visit. The delegation first visited theirlong-term partner, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
, where they held fruitful discussions on deepening existing cooperation projects and future development.
During the visit, the two parties officially renewed their
student exchange agreement
, further deepening cooperation in student mobility and academic exchanges. The delegation also visited the innovation center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, learning about cutting-edge research and innovation achievements.During the visit, Professor Noel Lindsay, Vice-Chancellor (Entrepreneurship) of the University of Adelaide, also attended the inaugural annual meeting of the

World University Innovation Alliance, participating in a roundtable discussion on global innovation development. Professor Noel Lindsay encouraged students to break traditional thinking patterns and approach complex challenges with creative methods.The alliance, participated by
56 universities from five continents
and21 enterprises, is committed to building a platform for global university students to exchange innovative ideas and promote cross-border cooperation and innovation.

On October 15th, our delegation arrived in Beijing and held fruitful talks with theChina Scholarship Council(CSC). Both sides comprehensively reviewed existing cooperation and explored future opportunities ininternational student exchangeandscholarship programs.

Both sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on joint plans such as establishing aGlobal Climate Change and Health Joint Research Center, pushing academic and personnel exchanges to a new level.Fifth StopQingdaoOn October 18th, the delegation arrived in Qingdao, visiting one of the University of Adelaide's important partners in China—Ocean University of China. The jointly establishedHaide Collegeoffers undergraduate courses in biotechnology, food science and engineering, mathematics and applied mathematics, with students also having the opportunity to pursue graduate studies at the University of Adelaide.
Since its establishment, Haide College has cultivated
over 1,400 students. During this visit, Professor Peter Høj AC, President of the University of Adelaide, visited Haide College's teaching and office areas, gaining an in-depth understanding of the college's educational environment and teaching achievements. Hong KongOn October 21st, the University of Adelaide SEM delegation arrived in Hong Kong, marking the final stop of their visit. The delegation first visitedThe Chinese University of Hong Kong, discussing cooperation opportunities in education and research with the university's senior representatives, focusing onacademic exchange and student mobility
programs.
On the same day, the delegation also visitedThe Hong Kong Polytechnic Universityand jointly held an academic roundtable onsustainable operations and supply chain management, the second joint seminar held by the two universities this year. This meeting aimed to deepen cooperation between the two universities in the

field of sustainable development, providing innovative solutions to global supply chain challenges.As Professor Jessica Gallagher stated in her speech during the visit—The University of Adelaide is always committed to building strategic partnerships globally, and we are proud of our deep cooperation with China.
