Time flies, it's graduation season again, and it's time to say goodbye again. InAdelaide, we witnessed a group of students fromNantong Universitywho came from afar, their youth frozen here, and their dreams set sail from here✈️.
In the early winter of June in the Southern Hemisphere, the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the University of Adelaide carefully planned a farewell party forthe second batch of the Sino-Australian cooperative education program— undergraduate graduates in architectural design

Congratulations to the students for successfully completing their undergraduate studies inboth China and Australia.

At the event, Associate Professor Katherine Bartsch, the academic director of the undergraduate cooperative education program in architectural design, expressed her gratitude tothe faculty teams of the University of Adelaide and Nantong University, and congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements in the five-year undergraduate architecture program.

Professor Scott Smith, the Deputy Dean of Internationalization at the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, emphasized that the Sino-Australian cooperative education program has expanded the students'international perspectives. Especially, the University of Adelaideconsistently ranks in the top 1% globally, and its research and teaching strengths have opened up broader paths for the students to 'Make History' in their future lives. At the same time, he hopes that the students will often return to the University of Adelaide after graduation, as the university will always be asolid backingfor alumni to explore and move forward.

The cooperative education program allowed him to enjoy the high-quality educational resources of both China and Australia, fostering an open and positive mindset. Even though the study tasks in Adelaide were heavy, he maintained a mindset of enjoying the local culture and lifestyle, actively communicated with teachers and students from different cultural backgrounds, and became a die-hard fan of the Port Adelaide Australian Football Club.
After the farewell party, the university faculty members, future student teams, and junior students in the program had a relaxed and pleasant exchange with the graduates. Everyone greeted each other and wished each other well

Tips
The '3.5+1.5 cooperative education program' between the University of Adelaide and Nantong University was established in 2017. Students who successfully complete the two phases of the five-year undergraduate program will receive a graduation certificate in architecture and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Nantong University, as well as a Bachelor of Architectural Design degree from the University of Adelaide.
