Geraldine brings over 25 years of experience in retail and association management leadership positions to the Business School. Before joining La Trobe University, she was the CEO of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) Victoria, responsible for leading strategic direction, professional development programs, and membership services. Geraldine was also the Membership Strategy Manager at the Australian Industry Group and the Professional Development and Membership Manager at the Australian Human Resources Institute. She served as Vice President of Multicultural Arts Victoria for eight years and was a board member of Connecting Home for four years.

Her research focuses on enterprise digital transformation and artificial intelligence. As a project leader, she has presided over multiple Australian government and enterprise fund projects, and has published over 70 papers in authoritative domestic and international information systems journals and conferences. She was awarded the title of one of the Top 25 Leaders in Business Analytics in Australia in 2022. In 2023, she was awarded the title of Outstanding Female Leader in Business Analytics in Australia and received the La Trobe Business School Research Excellence Award.

He has long been committed to interdisciplinary research in corporate sustainable development, environmental finance, climate investment and financing. He serves as an overseas standing committee member of the National Input-Output and Big Data Research Association, and has organized special topics on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development in SSCI and SCI journals such as Applied Energy and Advances in Applied Energy.
