Last Sunday, May 12th, was both Mother's Day and International Nurses Day, yet few are aware of this important holiday.


Let us pay tribute to those selfless and dedicated nursing staff who guard our health day and night! On this special day, we also extend our sincerest wishes to those students pursuing their nursing dreams.

With Australia's population continuously growing and the advent of an aging population,the Australian Prime Ministerposted on social media on the 9th: "We need more nurses, midwives, teachers, and social workers! We will introduce paid internships for these students. These talents are essential to our economy and society.We are proud to help them smoothly start their careers."

He proposedthe Commonwealth Prac Paymenta government plan to provide salary support for nursing, teaching, and social work students during their mandatory internships.

The Australian government will establish a new Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) for students to assist them in their mandatory internships in higher education for teaching, nursing, midwifery, and social work, as well as in vocational education and training (VET) nursing courses.


Starting from July 2025, eligible students will be able to receive319.50AUD per week during their internships.
