Curtin University's New Student Orientation Week is here, are you ready? This week is the day Curtin University welcomes all new students for the second semester of 2024!
A variety of orientation activities will help everyone quickly understand the campus atmosphere and life services, obtainrelevant arrangements and introductions for professional courses, and also meetnew friends from different countries, helping everyone better integrate into campus life.

Important Dates for S2 2024
On July 22, Curtin University will welcome the start of the second semester of 2024.As the start date approaches, please remember the following important dates!
- July 15-19: O-Week Orientation Week
- July 22 (Monday): First Day of School
- July 26 (Friday): Tuition Payment Deadline
- July 27 (Saturday): Course Registration Deadline
- August 16 (Friday): SSAF Payment Deadline
- August 17 (Saturday): SSAF Payment Due Date
- September 27 (Friday): Course Withdrawal Deadline
- October 8-November 8: Final Exam Week
- November 8 (Friday): Last Day of Semester
- November 27 (Wednesday): Grade Announcement Day
How to Enjoy Curtin Orientation Week?
The week before the official start of each semester is our Orientation Week (commonly referred to as O-Week), equivalent to the new student reporting week.During this week, all students,especially those new to Perth and unfamiliar with the Curtin University campus,can take this opportunity to understand the campus environment and facilities,participate in various campus activities and clubs, etc., to quickly adapt to life at Curtin University and adjust their state, preparing for the new semester.
Each semester's O-Week is filled with a variety of activities,you can handle USI, student cards, bus cards, etc., and plan the activities or lectures you want to participate in during O-Week through the Curtin student website OASIS (oasis.curtin.edu.au).On July 24 (Wednesday), there will also be Curtin
Club Day (Guild O'Day), from 11 am to 2:30 pm,at Sir Charles Court Promenade, where major clubs will gather!We have also prepared a high-definition map to help everyone locate building classrooms and quickly familiarize themselves with the campus.
