La Trobe University Nursing Ranking Rises

La Trobe University's nursing program continues to grow in the prestigious 2024 Shanghai World Subject Rankings.

Given the expertise of La Trobe University's School of Nursing and Midwifery, along with impactful research and international collaborations, La Trobe's nursing discipline ranks 3rd in Victoria and 7th in Australia.

The rise in rankings coincides with La Trobe University's ambition to address Victoria's projected health workforce shortage.

We are currently making the largest investment ever in the health sector—$142 million across our metropolitan and regional campuses—to become Australia's largest higher education provider, including impressive new clinical nursing simulation facilities at all La Trobe campuses.
