Success stories

The University of Wollongong College is delighted to witness the first group of students enrolled through the RizeUp program arriving at UOW College. This program offers valuable overseas study opportunities for UAE students to acquire the skills needed to contribute to the UAE's knowledge-based economy in the future.

Students funded through the RizeUp program will begin their journey with English courses and university foundation courses at the University of Wollongong College, then proceed to the University of Wollongong for a bachelor's degree.

Recently, the UOW College leadership team, including the college's General Manager Felix Lanceley and Global Admissions Director Bariş Satar, warmly welcomed these students. We listened to their experiences and emphasized the positive impact of our diverse student support services on their academic journey, including the campus community and local homestays.

This collaboration highlights our commitment to promoting international education and supporting the UAE's vision for a knowledge economy. We look forward to continuing to play a role in the educational development of UAE students and helping them achieve academic and personal success.

UOW College has many excellent teachers, such as Paul Issiac, a teacher at the University of Wollongong College, who opened up opportunities for himself by understanding his strengths and maintaining his passion.

He is the recipient of the 2023 University of Wollongong College Staff Passion Award, and hard work and responsibility are not unfamiliar to him. Now, his goal is to inspire his students with the same spirit.
