2 、特殊录取程序更新(条件CoE条款)
2025年第一学期的申请者,现在可以通过以下资格凭借预测成绩申请无条件录取。

English Requirements Proficiency Change – Joint 4+0 programs
We would like to inform you of an important update regarding our English language requirements. Effective immediately, we will no longer accept Medium of Instruction (MOI) letters from Chinese 4+0 joint programs as a valid means to meet our English language proficiency criteria.
This decision has been made to ensure consistency and fairness in our admissions process, aligning with our commitment to maintaining high standards for English language proficiency across all programs.
Please advise your students accordingly and ensure that any new application reflect this change.
- Applications under assessment: all applications currently under assessment will be reviewed based on the new requirements.
- Applications currently on a waitlist: all applications that have been assessed and are on a waitlist, we will honour the assessment.
- Offers already made: for applicants who have been assessed and meet the English language requirements under the previous policy, we will honour their offers.
- Deferred Offers: applicants who defer their offers will be re-assessed according to the new requirements to ensure they meet the updated criteria.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in communicating this update to your clients.
New Offer Deadline Advice
Regarding our offer letters, effective immediately, all offer letters will now include the following note:
"There is strong demand for our courses and this offer does not guarantee you a place.
If there is a deadline stated in this offer, you need to accept by the deadline or the offer will lapse. If no deadline is stated and you wish to confirm your place, we recommend accepting this offer within 10 business days of receiving it.
The University reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time by notice to you, including if available places are filled or to comply with government regulations."

Undergraduate
Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (CRICOS code: 116443J)
Available from 2025, the Faculty of Science has launched the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences (CRICOS code: 116443J).
This degree will provide access to the multidisciplinary sciences involved in the veterinary and allied animal science industries, including companion animals and wildlife. Designed for students with an interest in animals, they can develop fundamental and applied knowledge in animal bioscience and be prepared for a variety of opportunities to work with animals.
If student has an active application for the current Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Bioscience) (CRICOS code: 0100160) with the intention to commence your studies in 2025, the application can either be transferred to be assessed for admission into the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (CRICOS code: 116443J) or one of our other bachelor’s degrees, or student can withdraw application and request an application fee refund.
If student has an active offer letter for 2025 intakes for the current Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Bioscience) (CRICOS code: 0100160), student can request to transfer to be assessed for admission into the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (CRICOS code: 116443J) or continue with the current offer. There is no option to have the offer deferred to a later intake.
If student had an offer for 2024 intakes for the current Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Bioscience) (CRICOS code: 0100160), there is no option to have the offer deferred to a later intake. Student can request to transfer to be assessed for admission into the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (CRICOS code: 116443J).
Special Admissions Process Update
Applications for Semester 1, 2025 with below qualifications can now apply with predicted results to be assessed for unconditional offer. The Special Admissions Process is open to all applicants with the approved qualifications, regardless of the countries they are studying from. The predicted letter must have the issue date in or after August 2024.
We have also implemented changes to our Special Admissions Request Form to enhance our processes and provide better support to our students. With immediate effect, all students who applied for one of our four below processes, will be required to submit the Request form with supporting documentation:
- High School Diploma
- Predicted/ Forecast scores
- Vietnamese Gifted High School Year 12 with only complete Semester 1 transcript
- Unofficial Transcripts from Monash University (Foundation and Diploma programs
Postgraduate
PG Special Admissions Process Updates
We are implementing changes to enhance our Special Admissions Process and better support our students:
1.Revised deadline to request onshore special admissions:
The deadline to request the Onshore Special Admissions Process for S1 2025 has been updated to 1 November 2024.
2.Expansion of offshore special admissions:
The following countries have been added to our offshore special admissions process:
- Thailand
- Vietnam
- Canada
3.Changes to SAP for postgraduate Computer Science programs:
Due to strict quota requirements, the Offshore Special Admissions Process will no longer be available for the following Computer Science programs.
Eligible applicants may still apply for Onshore Special Admissions. Please note that the minimum GPA requirement for an unconditional offer through this process will be 5 points higher than the standard GPA requirement for these programs:
- Master of Computer Science (advanced entry)
- Master of Computer Science
- Graduate Diploma in Computer Science Graduate
- Graduate Certificate in Computer Science
To be considered for the Special Admissions process, please advise the student to complete the request form and submit it along with all required documents by the specified deadline.
Master of Building Performance and Sustainable Design
As part of the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Plannings commitment to shaping the future of built and designed environments through the delivery of worldclass learning opportunities, we’re pleased to advise you that the school has launched the new Master of Building Performance and Sustainable Design (CRICOS Code: 116199E).
With a focus on sustainable design and building performance for a low-carbon built environment, the new Master of Building Performance and Sustainable Design – available from Semester 1, 2025 – will develop students' advanced technical, collaborative and cultural competencies to drive world-leading environmental outcomes in interdisciplinary teams and projects. The master’s degree is designed for students aspiring to develop a career focusing on sustainability in the built environment and sustainable design consulting fields, and for those already working in the built environment sector who wish to obtain formal qualifications in sustainable design.
Delivered by leading practitioners and academics, the degree’s emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural competence and digital skills will prepare students to thrive in diverse and dynamic workplaces across the built environment sector.
Alongside the introduction of the new degree, we would also like to advise you that 2025 will be the last intake for the school’s Master of Architectural Science (CRICOS code: 082896J), including all streams. We will continue processing applications for the 2025 intake, although offer holders for the Master of Architectural Science will not be able to defer their offer to commence in 2026. If they would like to defer and have their offer transferred for admission into the Master of Building Performance and Sustainable Design (CRICOS Code: 116199E) for commencement in 2026, we can support them with this option on a case-by-case basis.

Update on quota degrees closing dates
In order to manage the strict quota degrees from the Sydney Law School and School of Health Sciences, we have changed the closing dates for the below degrees. This is to ensure we can assess all applications equally, rank and issue offers to the most eligible applicants.
Admissions Key Dates for S1, 2025
Due to exceptionally high interest in our degrees and the ongoing delays in student visa application processing, we encourage your students to submit their applications early, and to accept their offers and submit their visa applications as soon as practical. Prompt action will give them the best chance of having their student visas approved in time for the semester start.
