Please note,UNSWwill no longer accept any new extended foundation admissions. Students currently holding offers will receive an email from the school informing them of course changes.
3.Pre-Master's Program
Although the admission deadline for the May intake of the Pre-Master's Program has passed, UNSWis pleased to offer flexibility for interested students to defer to the8month intake. Please refer toUNSW
's deadline tool to calculate the relevant application and admission deadlines for your students.4. Language Packaged CoursesThe Australian Department of Home Affairs has announced that from
2024
year 3month23day,students' IELTS scores (or equivalent)must reach5.0points or above to enroll in academic English courses.Due to this change, some longer academic English packages may no longer be available, please understand.5.2024
Scholarship Series
International Student AwardIf you start a diploma course at UNSW in2024
or
2025 year, you will be eligible for a15%tuition fee subsidyfor the duration of your studies at UNSW. Applicants must meet all the following conditions to be eligible:International students,are citizens of countries within the scope defined by UNSW; and
are new students starting full-time diploma courses (excluding foundation courses); and
must not be current UNSW students (except for students who have completed undergraduate courses at UNSW and started postgraduate courses)*This scholarship cannot be deferred
Applicants for the UNSW International Student Award must submit a personal statement of no more than
500
words, outlining the reasons for proposing to study the proposed course at UNSW.
New applicants can upload their personal statement as part of their application materials through"Online Application".
2024 Academic Year ScholarshipIf you are an outstanding international student, you may be eligible for a scholarship worth5,000AUD or
7,500AUD
. Everyone is eligible to apply for UNSW College's academic scholarships,no separate application is required. If you receive an offer for a foundation or diploma course, based on academic performance, you will automatically be shortlisted. The UNSW College admissions team will evaluate your application and award scholarships based on academic performance.Note: Current students are not eligible to apply for academic scholarships.2024
Regional Merit Scholarshiphttps://www.unswcollege.edu.au/2024-regional-merit-scholarshipThe 2024 Regional Merit Scholarship aims to reward outstanding students from specific regions.
Scholarship amounts range from
5,000AUD to
AUDand will be awarded in the form of tuition fee reductions to recognize students' academic achievements and determination to pursue excellence.
Note: UNSW College reserves the right to cancel scholarships, reduce the amount of individual scholarships, or stop providing scholarships to eligible students at any time without notice. Applicants mustnominate the country or region for scholarship application.Provide a scholarship application statement of no more than 500 words, outliningthe reasons for applying for a diploma or foundation course at UNSW.Why choose to pursue your favorite degree at UNSW.
Participation in extracurricular activities, including cultural, sports, and leadership activities.
Scholarship recipients will automatically become student ambassadors of UNSW College
and are required to participate in the college's promotional activities, including but not limited to
providing written, oral, and recorded (audio and/or video) testimonials;
participating in webinars with potential students and/or agents;
participating in face-to-face and online events;
other college activities as requested and directed by the UNSW College team.
To retain the scholarship, successful applicants must remain enrolled in their respective study programs after the deadline.Scholarships will be awarded in the form of tuition fee reductions. Scholarships cannot be exchanged for cash or credits.
The 2024 Regional Merit Scholarship, once awarded,
cannot be deferred to the next intake
