1. Deadline for students enrolling in 2024

With the extension of visa processing times, especially in the EL3 market, we have set deadlines for applications, GSR review, offer letter issuance, enrollment and payment, and COE issuance to ensure the opportunity to process visas in time before the start date.

Please note the table below, which shows the deadlines for the EL3 markets including India, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Kenya.

2.Social WorkSocial Work - Changes to English Entry Requirements

Students of the 2025 Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work (Qualifying) need to provean overall IELTS score or equivalent of 7.0, with no sub-score below 7.0.

Students entering through the Postgraduate Bridging Program in Social Work,Postgraduate Bridging Program Social Workstill only need an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no sub-score below 6.0), and uponsuccessful completion of the semester's courses, they can advance to the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program without submitting IELTS scores again.Please ensure your students are aware of these new entry requirements when they are about to enroll.

3. 2025 International Student Scholarships

Western Sydney International is pleased to announce that we will continue to offer international scholarships for students enrolling in 2025.

Undergraduate

Except for

Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicineprogramall courses will automatically receivea multi-year scholarship of AUD 3,000 (for up to three years).Note: Students applying for the Bachelor of Nursing must meet the academic conditions to receive the AUD 3000 or AUD 6000 multi-year scholarship.Postgraduate

will continue to offer eligible students multi-year scholarships of AUD 3,000 and AUD 6,000. In 2025, there will be 9 majors that automatically receive a multi-year scholarship of AUD 6000:

• 1784 Master of Teaching (Birth - 5 Years)

• 1792 Master of Social Work (Qualifying)

• 2813 Master of Property Investment and Development
