What is Easter?
Easter is a popular Christian holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus, symbolizing new life.Traditions vary around the world, but people usually choose to attend church services, decorate eggs, and have meals with family and friends to celebrate the holiday.
In many countries, there is also the custom of hunting for chocolate eggs, which are hidden for children to find.
There are four public holidays during Easter- Good Friday (March 29), Easter Saturday (March 30), Easter Sunday (March 31), and Easter Monday (April 1).
Most supermarkets and retail stores will be closed or have shortened hours on these days, so make sure to complete your shopping before the weekend!

Australian Colors - Art Exhibition
Gain new understanding and perspectives on Australian history and art by visiting the Vincent Namatjira exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia.Western Aranda artist Namatjira is known for his subversive portraits and political commentary, and was the first Indigenous person to win the prestigious Archibald Prize. This exhibition will continue until July.
