University of Sydney Computer Science Acceptance Deadline Reminder

The Postgraduate Computer Science department at the University of Sydney has issued an important reminder to students about to join its academic community, hereby reminding all S2 2024 applicants that the deadline for accepting and paying for unconditional offer letters is 12:00 noon local time on April 1st.

In the original message sent, the Postgraduate Computer Science department at the University of Sydney pointed out that although unconditional offer letters have been issued to some students, they must accept the offer through the online acceptance system before the deadline and provide proof of payment, such as a payment receipt, to confirm the admission. The department also emphasized the limited number of admission spots, stating that even if an unconditional offer letter is received, it does not guarantee a spot, and the acceptance and payment procedures must be completed before the deadline.

According to the notice issued, if the offer is not accepted and payment is not completed by the deadline, or if the admission spots are full at that time, the unconditional offer letter will be revoked.

The Postgraduate Computer Science department at the University of Sydney stated that the purpose of this reminder is to ensure that applicants can complete the admission procedures in a timely manner to smoothly join the academic community. Our records show that you have been issued an unconditional offer for the Master of Computer Science (advanced entry), but the offer has not been accepted. This unconditional offer confirms that you have met the minimum
academic requirements for admission to the course but does not guarantee your enrolment place. To confirm your place, you must accept your offer of admission via the online acceptance system and submit evidence of payment, such as a payment receipt, while places are still available and by no later than 12pm (AEDT), Monday 1 April 2024.
