Important Updates for S1 2024 at the University of Queensland
The University of Queensland

Due to recent visa processing priority changes implemented by the Australian Government, some students have not been able to arrive on campus by our published late arrival and course enrollment deadline of March 1, 2024.
International students starting in the first semester of 2024 who are affected by visa delays can nowreceive their visa and complete course enrollment by the end of Week 3 (March 8, 2024)(manual intervention is available after March 1, 2024).
1 If students receive their visa before March 8
If students receive their student visa before the end of Week 3 (March 8, 2024), they nowmust be on campus to attend classes by Monday, March 11.
If, due to flight availability, their planned arrival is slightly after this date, students are encouraged to contact their Faculty administration to confirm whether a late start is still possible, as some course enrollments will not permit a later start.
If students have not enrolled in classes by March 1, 2024, they will need to send an email to studentadmin@uq.edu.au, requesting assistance to enroll due to visa delays, showing evidence of their visa grant date. In this circumstance, the late enrollment charge will not be applied.
