Course Description
As a registered Psychologist, this course will prepare you to practise as an educational and developmental psychologist in a range of settings including primary and secondary schools, health and welfare services, hospitals, care facilities, clinics and private practice and within business and corporate environments.The course has been designed to further develop you as an evidence-based practitioner and independent professional who has the theoretical, research, assessment and therapeutic skills required for the practice of educational and developmental psychology.You will have the opportunity to apply theory into practice through a minimum of 750 hours of supervised professional experience across the course. You will undertake activities under the supervision of experienced practitioners who have an area of practice endorsement in educational and developmental psychology.Start of expanded contentYou will develop an advanced ability to think critically and analytically about the processes involved in educational and developmental psychology and the application of these to professional practice and research. The Master of Advanced Educational and Developmental Psychology course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and meets the requirements for a sixth year in psychology.With a further two years of supervised practice in educational and developmental psychology, graduates are currently eligible for endorsement as Educational and Developmental Psychologists with the Psychology Board of Australia.

    A continuing student studying full-time for a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (including double degrees) or Monash Doctor of Laws (JD) at a Monash campus in Australia. Have completed all compulsory units of the Monash LLB or JD and up to four elective units only, before the start of the UK academic year for which the scholarship is sought. Be admitted (although such acceptance may be conditional on completion of the Monash LLB or JD bridging phase to that program) and enrolled in one of the following approved international bridging programs: Bachelor of Civil Law or Master of Law and Finance at the University of Oxford (open to Monash JD students only), or Master of Laws or Master of Corporate Law at the University of Cambridge (open to Monash LLB and JD students), or Master of Laws at King's College London Dickson Penn School of Law (open to Monash LLB and JD students).
