This course is designed to provide a pathway for participants to deepen their understanding of Islamic theology and to perform support functions associated with serving in an Islamic congregation.
It will provide participants with a range of knowledge, and skills to perform the role of an Assistant Imam including advising others in the principles of Shariah law, performing services in a support function of congregational prayers and Islamic religious ceremonies, leading Quranic study sessions, teaching Islamic scripture, implementing community engagement experiences, and assisting other members of the congregation to enhance their Islamic practice
