Eastern’s Diploma of Arts is the first year of the Bachelor of Arts and is built on the understanding that faith, as well as social and personal values, shapes life, including communities, families, cultures, social and workplace. You’ll discover the interplay between knowledge, values, social justice and more. This one-year course is a great way to get a grounding in the Christian faith, learn to study, possibly take up an internship and explore what the future holds for you. Deepen your faith and knowledge as you undertake core Christian Foundation units, and explore specialisations such as community development, ministry, counselling, education, English, history, linguistics, mathematics and social science.For students who don’t have an ATAR for their desired course, the Diploma of Arts provides the building blocks to move into a future degree of your choice.
