For students thinking about a career in business, economics or property, the Bachelor of Property Economics provides the edge required to get started in a global industry.Combined with the Bachelor of International Studies, the course provides students specialising in property economics with additional practical skills by providing the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of a language other than English and another culture.In this degree students learn the specialist knowledge required to enter the property sector, with skills in property valuation, market analysis, investment and development. Their skill set is just as relevant locally as it is internationally.This degree covers economic, legal and financial disciplines, giving students the flexibility to pursue a variety of career paths. This business knowledge is also transferable, providing options for a transition to other sectors as careers develop.UTS graduates are highly sought after and have excellent starting salaries: the property industry actively recruits property economics students. Most students are working within the industry by their third year of study.This job-readiness results from UTS's industry connections: the curriculum was developed in consultation with industry, guest lecturers come from industry, and students work with real-world projects such as Barangaroo, Central Park and Green Square.The degree structures classes so that students do a mixture of individual and team-based work mixing theory and practice. This means graduates seamlessly fit into team-based, workplace environments.A further two years of study introduce and consolidate the learning of a language and culture other than English.

Commence full-time study on a UTS campus[1] in 2024 or 2025 4. Meet the UTS admission criteria for your chosen undergraduate course 5. Must not: be studying a UTS online or distance learning degree; or be completing a UTS approved external articulation or pathway course at an institution outside Australia; or be a recipient of another UTS international scholarship or bursary or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program during the validity period of this scholarship; and be a government-funded student.

Must have completed the Gaokao with a competitive score within one year prior to entering UTS and be admitted to UTS on the basis of this qualification 5. Must be studying full-time on campus (Sydney) 6. Must not: be studying for an online or distance degree at UTS; be a government-funded student; or be the recipient of another UTS scholarship while receiving this scholarship.

After completing the foundation studies program, must commence full-time study at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for an undergraduate degree in the next term.
