In Australia, the food industry represents around 20% of domestic manufacturing sales and service income. The Bachelor of Food Science and Technology prepares students to make their mark in this rapidly expanding field by building the skills to help transform the global food economy.Course content emphasises technology-led innovation and the development of new food products and systems, combining biotechnology and specialist food science subjects with targeted cross-faculty electives.Why UTS Science?UTS Science, one of Australia's leading university science faculties, is committed to scientific advancement that creates a more sustainable world. Must not: be studying a UTS online or distance learning degree; or be completing a UTS approved external articulation or pathway course at an institution outside Australia; or be a recipient of another UTS international scholarship or bursary or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program during the validity period of this scholarship; and be a government-funded student.

Must have completed the Gaokao with a competitive score within one year prior to entering UTS and be admitted to UTS on the basis of this qualification 5. Must be studying full-time on campus (Sydney) 6. Must not: be studying for an online or distance degree at UTS; be a government-funded student; or be the recipient of another UTS scholarship while receiving this scholarship.
