Introduction
When children are exposed to positive educational experiences prior to school, their learning capabilities – and in turn, their chances of excelling in school – are greatly improved. Quality early childhood education provides a strong foundation for learning, and helps young children develop their social and emotional skills. The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) is part of an innovative suite of new education degrees being pioneered by Macquarie. Streamlined and future focused, the degrees provide the opportunity to undertake full-time employment as a conditionally accredited teacher during fourth year. Your studies will be integrated into your work via a hybrid program of ‘learn, plan, do, reflect’ cycles delivered through education networks helmed by expert teachers. In your first year, you’ll study a set of core units that explore inclusive practices, technology in the classroom, cultural and linguistic diversity, sustainability teaching, the integration of Indigenous knowledge in the classroom, and how children learn. In your second and third years, you’ll study units focused on early childhood education, and you’ll undertake your first professional experience placements. The streamlined nature of the degree, in conjunction with the extensive placements, means you’ll graduate wholly equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage modern early childhood education settings.[116113E]

A school's risk rating is a key factor in determining the evidence required for a student's visa application, making it a crucial point of reference.

For example, if a school has a risk rating of Level 2, the applicant will face more restrictions than in the past and will be required to provide additional documentary evidence, such as proof of English language proficiency and financial capacity
