Introduction
The Advanced Diploma of Marine Engineering (Class 1) - (Motor) will help you to develop the practical skills and in-depth knowledge required to perform various specialised tasks when working as an Engineer Class 1.Learn to plan and schedule operations and organise safe maintenance and repair procedures, and develop the skills necessary to operate and maintain electrical machinery, electronic control and engine equipment. You will also learn to manage the vessel's administration, including its business, legal and personnel aspects.This course has been designed specifically to help you meet the licensing requirements of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). While you will also need to meet other requirements, including sea time hours and medical requirements, this course provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be prepared.

    Prepare Materials (School Application)

    • Interview notification: An email will specify the interview time, method (usually Zoom or Teams), and preparation details.
    • Interview content: A conversation in English including self-introduction, interests, academic situation, future plans, and a comprehensive assessment of learning habits, adaptability, reasons for coming to Australia, etc. The duration is approximately 15-30 minutes.

    Submit School Application

    • Submit the application through the school's official website or an agent's portal and pay the application fee (if any).
    • Submit supplementary documents as required and track the admission progress (Conditional/Unconditional Offer).
    • After meeting the conditions, pay the tuition deposit and complete the acceptance procedure (Accept Offer).

    Obtain CoE and Arrange OSHC

    • The school issues the CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment).
    • Purchase/confirm OSHC to cover the entire visa period (including dependents, if any).
