Detailed answer

For the Job Ready Program (JRP) for Carpenters, here are the specific requirements for each stage:

  • Job Ready Employment (JRE): You must have a successful Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA), a current passport, and submit your JRE application within your PSA's 3-year validity period. Your employment arrangements must provide sufficient opportunities to develop skills and be verifiable. You must complete a minimum of 6 months of full-time equivalent paid employment from your JRE Start Date.
  • Job Ready Workplace Assessment (JRWA): To be eligible, your employment arrangements must be verified by TRA, and an Employment Confirmation Form must be provided on or after six months of full-time equivalent employment from your JRE Start Date. Acceptable Skills Progress Reports (SPRs), Employment Verification Reports (EVRs), and other relevant information must also be provided.
  • Job Ready Final Assessment (JRFA): You must have achieved a successful (Job Ready) JRWA outcome and completed an Employment Confirmation Form (ECF) showing a minimum of 12 months of full-time paid employment (or equivalent part-time) with TRA approved employer/s within three years from your JRE Start Date. You also need to submit one payslip or other acceptable pay evidence covering your 12-month JRFA eligibility date.
