Detailed answer
To complete and submit specific forms like the Skills Progress Report (SPR) and Employment Verification Report (EVR) for a Chef in the Job Ready Program (JRP):
-
Employment Verification Report (EVR):
- You must use the most recent version of the EVR for your nominated occupation, available on the Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) website.
- Your employer and/or nominated supervisor must complete, sign, and date the EVR.
- This completed and signed EVR, along with three weeks of pay evidence, must be uploaded through the TRA Online Portal with your Job Ready Employment (JRE) application documents. If you add additional or new employers during the program, a new EVR and pay evidence are required for each.
-
Skills Progress Report (SPR):
- The SPR is a self-assessment record of the skills and activities you've undertaken in your workplace, confirming skill development, use of appropriate tools/equipment, and duties.
- It must be confirmed and signed by your supervisor or employer nominated for the workplace.
- TRA requires an SPR when:
- You have worked with the same employer for more than six months since your JRE Start Date.
- You are ending your employment with an employer you had previously registered.
- TRA specifically requests an SPR.
- Completed SPRs must be uploaded through the TRA Online Portal document uploads link in PDF format. Ensure you use the most recent version relevant to your occupation from the TRA website.
Both EVRs and SPRs are provided to the TRA-appointed workplace assessor to support the planning of your Job Ready Workplace Assessment (JRWA), so accuracy is crucial.
