Job Description

  • Planning diets and menus, and instructing people on the requirements and importance of diet and on the planning and preparation of food
  • Supervising the preparation and serving of meals
  • Collecting, organising and assessing data relating to health and nutritional status of individuals, groups and communities
  • Monitoring food intake and quality to provide nutritional care
  • Calculating nutritional values of food served
  • Planning, conducting and evaluating nutrition intervention programs and compiling educational material
  • Providing nutrition assessments, nutrition management, and nutrition education, research and training
  • Consulting with other Health Professionals and related workers to manage the dietary and nutritional needs of patients

    Work Experience Requirements

      1. In the past 5 years, you must have at least 1 year of post-graduate work experience that is highly relevant to your academic qualifications. Only paid, full-time work experience can be recognized (internships, work during doctoral studies (partially subsidized by the school), and other part-time work are not considered work experience).

    Academic Qualification Requirements

      1. Bachelor degree or above. (If the applicant does not have a degree certificate, he/she cannot apply for Group A job evaluation);
      1. The academic degree and major are highly relevant to the nominated occupation;

    English Language Requirements

      1. No need to provide proof of English language proficiency
