Job Description
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
- Planning and organising special functions
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

Assessment Requirements
- Pathway 1: AQF bachelor's degree or higher, major highly relevant, with at least 2 years of post-qualification highly relevant paid employment within the last 5 years.
- Pathway 2: AQF bachelor's degree or higher, major highly relevant, plus an additional relevant qualification such as an AQF Diploma, with at least 1 year of post-qualification highly relevant paid employment within the last 5 years.
- Pathway 3: AQF bachelor's degree or higher, major not highly relevant, with at least 3 years of post-qualification highly relevant paid employment within the last 5 years.
- Pathway 4: AQF bachelor's degree or higher, with a total of at least 5 years of relevant paid employment, including at least 1 year of post-qualification highly relevant employment within the last 5 years (pre-qualification experience may be included).
- Documentation requirements are detailed, including educational qualifications, employment proof, identity documents, English translations, and materials related to self-employment, etc.
- Language: No standardized English test score requirement, but documentation and communication are primarily in English.
