西交利物浦大学是经中国教育部批准，由西安交通大学和英国利物浦大学合作创立的，具有独立法人资格和鲜明特色的新型国际大学。她是中国第一所以理工管起步，强强合作，拥有中华人民共和国学士学位和英国利物浦大学学位授予权的中外合作大学。

西浦智库（以下简称“智库”）定位为聚焦地方发展和产业提升的高水平、国际化、综合性智库，核心策略是充分利用西浦国际化的学科力量、科研实力和平台优势，网罗国内外高端研究人才和资源，携手政府相关职能部门以及园区的战略产业，整合科教创新区内高校和研究机构形成合力，为园区政府提供立足园区发展实际、整合国内国际各领域菁英智慧、参考最前沿政府管理理念的政策建议和决策参考，为园区乃至苏州的创新型可持续发展发挥“外脑”和“参谋”的作用。

智库现面向社会，诚聘英才。具体岗位信息如下：

1.具有公共政策、公共管理、经济学、社会学或城市规划等相关研究领域的博士学位；

2.具有开展高质量政策及学术研究项目经验，在学界认可的期刊上发表论文/文章经验者优先；

3.具有咨询或政府相关工作经验者优先；

4.具有优秀的中英文口头表达及书面写作能力；

5.有高校教学经验或资历者优先。

1.积极主动，具有独立工作及团队合作的能力；

2.良好的沟通和人际交往能力、较强的组织能力；

3.注重细节，能够优化任务顺序、同时处理多项任务；

4.对待工作能够自我激励、态度热情、积极创新。

1.根据相关专业及科研背景申请、承担相应政策研究项目；

2.撰写高质量且具有影响力的政策简报、提案、时事评论、项目报告和学术论文；

3.与行业合作伙伴、政府相关部门和其他国内/国际智库合作开展研究合作、推广等活动；

4.协助组织智库及学校层面的会议及活动；

5.如有需要，应承担相关专业及领域的教学任务；

6.智库主任交办的其他有关学术和行政工作。

工资标准如下：

讲师5：27929-30762元/月（根据未来年度表现和任职后的考核情况，有机会达到34219元/月）

讲师4：22260-24610元/月（根据未来年度表现和任职后的考核情况，有机会达到27514元/月）

讲师3：16937-19011元/月（根据未来年度表现和任职后的考核情况，有机会达到21845元/月）

此外，学术人员有权享受住宿、旅行、子女教育、医疗保险等补贴，并提供一次性安家补贴。根据国籍和个人情况，海外员工可享受“税务假期”。

*薪水以经验和资历来确定。

1.PhD degree in relevant research fields such as public policy, public administration, economics, sociology, or urban planning

2.Experience in conducting high-quality policy and academic research, track record of refereed research publications would be highly regarded

3.Consulting experience or government work experience preferred

4.Excellent oral and written communication capabilities in both English and Chinese

5.Experience or qualifications in teaching in a tertiary environment is an asset

1.Proactivity and the ability to work independently and also as part of a team

1.Applying for and undertaking policy research projects in the relevant fields

2.Producing high-quality and influential policy briefings and proposals, current affairs reviews, project reports and academic papers

3. Engaging with industrial partners, government stakeholders and other domestic/international think tanks for research collaboration, networking or promotion activities

4.Supporting the Institution and the University’s conferences and events

5.Teaching in relevant fields if required  

6.Other related academic and administration tasks assigned by the Director

Salary is based on experience and qualification.

The scales for salary are: 

Lecturer 5: 27,929 - 30,762 RMB/month (with the opportunity to go to 34,219 RMB/month based on future annual performance and evaluations after being in post)

Lecturer 4: 22,260 - 24,610 RMB/month (with the opportunity to go to 27,514 RMB/month based on future annual performance and evaluations after being in post)

Lecturer 3: 16,937 -  19,011 RMB/month (with the opportunity to go to 21,845 RMB/month based on future annual performance and evaluations after being in post)

Members of Academic Staff are entitled to subsidies for accommodation, travel, and children’s educational, medical insurance, and a one-time relocation allowance is provided. Overseas staff may receive a tax “holiday,” depending on nationality and personal circumstances.

Employment at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is regulated by Chinese Labour Laws, and must comply with the regulations of the provincial government. These regulations stipulate who is eligible for legal employment with regard to obtaining work permits and visas.  Please be advised candidates over 65 may not be eligible for PRC work visa.
