IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) 

We are following-up on the recent communication “Change of University of Sydney OSHC provider” advising the University of Sydney has now changed our preferred Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provider to Bupa.   Bupa will provide health cover for our international students, effective immediately. 

As advised, applicants for the University, and those packaged with us, CET, who have already accepted their offer and selected Allianz as their provider will remain with Allianz.  However, your client/s who have not accepted their unconditional or conditional offer (including those packaged with CET) will have their offers reissued over the next few days.  The revised offers will start flowing out and the only change is related to the information on our new preferred provider, Bupa.  Please wait for the new offers to finalise enrollment. 

Your client/s still have the right to choose their own OSHC provider from the registered health insured that can offer OSHC.  More information on those providers is available here. 

The University worked closely with Bupa to secure a good deal for our students and believe this will be a positive new partnership. We apologise that we need to reissue offers to your client/s who have not yet accepted but rely on you to ensure your client/s are aware of why their offers have been reissued and to explain to them the change if they come to you with questions. This is a better outcome for them.

• DEC5 and GAS - 26 April 2024

• DEC25 - 31 May 2024 

See highlight in green below, please work to these deadlines and provide the correct documentation, this helps us to effectively process your client/s application.  Allow plenty of time for visa processing, to find flights and accommodation, Sydney is a popular destination so act early.  Remember all our dates are available on our website.

New and existing applications can be accessed via our Agent Portal.  Please use the Agent Portal for uploading additional documentation for existing applications with your ID and Password.

University of Sydney Quota List 2024 - no change since February 2024

Please see list below of degrees that have quotas for a CET package offer for 2024.  These quotas are issued by the Faculties/Schools to the University’s Admissions team.  When you receive a CET package offer on a degree with a quota, it is important that you act early and have your documentation in order to finalise enrolment.
