UQ持续在全球舞台闪耀

在2025年QS世界大学学科排名中，UQ在20个学术领域进入全球前50。其中：

OSHC费用上调通知

自2025年4月1日起，Allianz Care海外学生健康保险（OSHC）保费将上调：

• 单人6个月保费将从 AUD $416 上调至 AUD $437

如学生在4月1日前收到报价单（包含2024年费率），仍可支付较低金额。否则将按新标准收取费用。

理学院更新

数学学士（Bachelor of Mathematics）更新如下：

• 停设专业：数据分析与运筹学、统计学
• 新增专业：数学人工智能、优化与运筹学、统计与数学数据科学

保护生物学与保护科学硕士 Master of Conservation Biology & Master of Conservation Science提示：

• 开学时间：2025年6月26日（不接受迟到报到，因需参加实地考察）
• 申请截止：2025年4月1日
• 提供AUD $5000国际奖学金

健康、医学与行为科学课程更新

言语病理学硕士 Master of Speech Pathology Studies

• 2025年夏季学期申请已截止，建议申请2026年入学。

临床医学 Doctor of Medicine（MD）

2026年入学申请现已开放，国际申请者可以通过以下两种途径申请：

✔ MD 预录取途径（Provisional Entry）：

• 面向高中毕业生（相当于澳洲12年级）
• 非QTAC申请者通过UQ官网申请（课程代码2303）
• 申请截止日期：待定，将在官网上公布
• 需参加UCAT ANZ考试

✔ MD 研究生入学途径（Graduate Entry）：

• 面向本科毕业生或大四学生
• 通过UQ官网申请（课程代码5740）
• 需参加GAMSAT或MCAT考试
• 申请截止：第一轮：2025年6月9日（周一）第二轮：2025年8月13日（周三）

OSHC fee increase from 1 April 2025

From 1 April 2025, premiums for new Allianz Care Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policies will increase. The cost for 6 months of single OSHC will rise from AUD $416 to AUD $437.

Students who receive offers before 1 April 2025 with the 2024 fee quoted can still pay the lower amount. However, for offers issued on or after 1 April 2025, the new rate of $437 for 6 months will apply.

Science updates

• Discontinued majors: Data Analytics and Operations Research, Statistics
• New majors: Mathematical Artificial Intelligence, Optimisation and Operations Research, Statistics and Mathematical Data ScienceThese updates are now reflected on the UQ study website.

Reminder for the Master of Conservation Biology & Master of Conservation Science:

• Program commencement: 26 June 2025 (Late arrivals not permitted due to field trip requirements)
• Application deadline: 1 April 2025

Science International Scholarships valued at AUD $5,000 are available for international students starting an approved science program.

• Applications open for Semester 2, 2025 (July intake)
• Application deadline: 23 June 2025

Biosecurity reminder

Students coming to Australia should be aware of biosecurity rules before packing. Bringing food, plant material or animal products without declaring them can result in fines of up to $6,600, visa cancellation or delays at the airport.

To avoid issues on arrival, please ensure students check Australia’s biosecurity rules and declare any restricted items. Most products are available in Australia, so it’s best to leave them behind.

Master of Speech Pathology Studies
Due to high demand, applications for the Master of Speech Pathology Studies (Summer 2025 intake) have now closed. We encourage students to apply for the Summer 2026 intake instead.

Doctor of Medicine

Applications for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program are now open for the 2026 intake. International applicants can apply through 2 pathways:

MD Provisional Entry

• Open to secondary school students in their final year (equivalent to Australian Year 12).
• Non-QTAC applicants should apply via the UQ portal under 'Undergraduate Program' using program code 2303.
• Admission test required: UCAT ANZ
• Application deadlines: To be confirmed and will be published online.

MD Graduate Entry

• Open to university graduates and final-year undergraduate students.
