Undergraduate applications have now closed for 2026. Postgraduate programs remain open.
We appreciate your ongoing collaboration in guiding prospective students to UNSW Sydney. As a global top 20 university*, UNSW continues to experience high levels of applicant demand. As a result of this and the ongoing Australian Government guidance around enrolment limits, we are approaching capacity for our undergraduate programs in 2026.
To ensure that we remain within government guidance, we have made some important adjustments to applications to New Overseas Student Commencement (NOSC) applicants for 2026 intakes.

Undergraduate programs
All undergraduate programs will close for new NOSC applications across all 2026 intakes from 4pm Monday, 17 November 2025 (AEDT). Advice on how to apply for non-NOSC applicants will be provided in due course.
A number of undergraduate programs have met their annual international enrolment capacity. Where this is the case, existing applicants will have their application assessed for their next preferences. If no additional preference was nominated at the application stage, applications will be withdrawn with application fees refunded via the original payment method within 90 days where relevant. The programs at capacity are as follows:
- Bachelor of Architectural Studies
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Aviation (RPAS)
- Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours)
- Bachelor of Computer Science (including doubles)
- Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions
- Bachelor of Food Science
- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
- Bachelor of Materials Science (including doubles)
- Bachelor of Media (including doubles)
- Bachelor of Science (including doubles)
- Bachelor of Social Sciences
Applications via UAC International, articulating students and sponsored students will still be considered, however places are limited. Existing offer holders (including conditional offer holders) are not impacted, and should accept their offer as soon as possible.
Undergraduate programs not listed above will continue to be assessed for offers. All undergraduate applications will now be assessed in grouped offer rounds, with the majority of offers to be released in Term 3, 2026 Grouped Round 1 on Thursday, 11 December 2025 and Grouped Round 2 on Thursday, 29 January 2026. This approach will mean that offers will be made on a competitive basis, in most cases above minimum entry guideline requirements.
Postgraduate programs
Applications for postgraduate programs remain open. We encourage your students to submit their complete applications as early as possible. Please check our website for the offer round schedules.
2026 International Student Award
We are delighted to announce a 5% increase to the International Student Award. This means from Term 1, 2026 eligible applicants will receive a 20% contribution towards their tuition fees for the minimum duration of their program.
