This course is intended to provide participants with a range of character, knowledge and skills to work in a Christian missions organisation specifically involving the following functions:
* Application of biblical principles to personal life to develop Christian character
* Function in a Christian missions community and team activities by demonstrating the character of God through life and missions
* Study of the Bible using the inductive Bible study approach including historical context reports
* Use of biblical text in preaching, teaching, and Bible studies
* Implement discipleship strategies through use of Bible studies
Many opportunities exist, both with Youth With a Mission and with other Christian agencies in Australia and overseas. This course will suit Christians who are already involved in Christian Missions and/or community work and recognise the need for further training, as well as those who are not yet involved but are seeking training before beginning work in Christian missions
