For the Post Australian Study and Temporary Graduate 485 pathways, the major in IT, Data Science, or Cyber Security must be closely related to the nominated occupation and ANZSCO code. For the General Skills pathway, the relevance of the major (closely related or not closely related) impacts the required years of work experience.
