I am writing to inform you about the updated English requirement for the package course of Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Master of Education.

In response to the recent changes by ACECQA that one year full time study at the tertiary level in Australia is deemed to meet the required English proficiency for Early Childhood Teacher registration, if the applicants have a valid academic IELTS of 6.5/6.0 and successfully complete at least 4 units in the PG level, they may be deemed to meet the English requirement for the packaged course of Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Master of Education. This change will not apply to Graduate Diploma in Education (stand alone).

根据 ACECQA 的最新规定，在澳大利亚高等教育机构全日制学习一年即被视为达到幼儿教师注册所需的英语水平，如果申请人的有效学术雅思成绩为 6.5/6.0，并成功完成至少 4 个 研究生级别的课程单元，则可被视为达到幼儿教育研究生文凭和教育硕士打包课程的英语要求。此变动不适用于Graduate Diploma in Education（独立）课程。

I note that applicant need to understand that if ACECQA has decided to change this requirement in the future, the applicant will still need to meet the new requirements in order to get the registration.申请人需要明白，如果 ACECQA 今后决定改变这一要求，申请人仍需要满足新的要求才能获得注册。

Another point that I need to mention is that we strictly follow the GS assessment guidelines as per DHA’s student visa requirement. Hence, the applicant will need to meet GS condition in order to get a full offer.
