从现在起,申请者将不再根据政府定义的NOSC(新国际学生入学)或Non-NOSC(非NOSC)状态进行分类。

Given this will be the last update for 2024, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your understanding, perseverance and professionalism as we navigated (in good faith) very significant imposed changes impacting the International student market. At this time these changes have not been implemented but this has not impacted our need to react and manage heavy intake reductions. The role you have played in advising and updating your clients throughout this period has been most helpful and hopefully these learnings will assist us all in the future regardless of where we find ourselves.
2025 Semester 1 Offer Letters
As we approach Semester 1, 2025, we would like to inform you of an important update regarding the offer process. Due to recent developments, all applicants will now be ranked for available spots across all courses and offers will be extended until the full capacity for each program is filled. Those not successful in one round, will be considered for other rounds as applicable. Going forward, applicants will no longer be considered based on the government’s definition of NOSC or Non-NOSC status.
This change means that we have resumed issuing offers for a wider range of courses. Offers will be issued on a weekly or fortnightly basis, with some exceptions. Please note that all applicants will have 10 business days to accept their offer.
Additionally, for current University of Sydney students, their Semester 2 results will begin to be published from 11 December 2024. The Admissions Team will actively review all applications with a conditional offer based on completing USYD studies and will rank students accordingly.

Student Visa Application Reminder
A reminder for all agent partners regarding the student visa application.
Some students have been rejected for not having taken their health examination by the due date as requested by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). In some cases student visas were rejected for not having OSHC in place and failing to respond to a Request for Information (RFI) through their ImmiAccount. Simple errors can result in DHA putting the application on hold until they receive the correct information from the student. Kindly remind your staff and clients to:
- Check emails frequently (and ensure they use their own email that they regularly check);
- Respond to RFI promptly and advise DHA if any issues are preventing access to medical appointments or any other barriers to completing their processes;
- If unable to meet the deadline requested by DHA, provide evidence such as payment receipt or booking confirmation, to DHA immediately on what actions students have taken to obtain the required information within the specified timeframe. This will alert the case officer that they are taking steps to obtain the required information however, cannot achieve the deadline.
- When in doubt, keep DHA informed through their ImmiAccount, not via emails. Please be mindful that the designated channel is ImmiAccount.
