1 Scholarship Adjustment
The University of Canberra is reviewing its scholarship policies, with existing scholarships changing fromSeptember 1, 2025To ensure your students retain their existing scholarships, please remind them to:
- Submit all required documents as stated in the offer letter
- Meet all conditions listed on the offer letter
- Accept the offer and complete the required payment
The above must be completed byAugust 31, 2025If a student's acceptance is not finalized by this date, their application will be reassessed based on the new scholarship policy implemented from
September 1, 20252 Important UpdatesAll outstanding documents (including the Genuine Student Survey) must be submitted immediately to ensure acceptance and payment can be completed by August 31.
Students are encouraged to accept their offer and make payment by August 31 to retain their current scholarship.
- New applications received after August 15, 2025, will be paused and resume processing on September 1, at which time they will be assessed under the new scholarship policy.
- Applications already in progress will be processed to the offer stage to allow students time to accept before the deadline.
- Application processing for health-related courses has been paused and will resume on September 1.
- * Note: To ensure that students' applications can be assessed, offers issued, and ultimately accepted, it is essential to submit all outstanding documents as soon as possible. Timely submission of materials is crucial for the application to progress on schedule.
- 3. Special Impact on the Following Student Groups from September 1, 2025:
Students applying to the following health-related courses will no longer receive scholarships: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging), Master of Speech Pathology, Master of Occupational Therapy, Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Medical Imaging, Master of Nursing Practice (Graduate Entry)
The Bachelor of Nursing scholarship will be capped at 10% (only applicable to eligible students).
- Offers with a 25% scholarship will be adjusted to a 20% scholarship.
- Starting from Semester 1, 2026, all scholarships will have ongoing eligibility review requirements.

- Ensure students submit all materials as soon as possible, especially the GS Survey.
Strongly encourage students to accept and make payment by August 31 to secure their current scholarship.
- We’d like to inform you of important upcoming changes to the University of Canberra’s scholarship offerings and application processing timelines.
- UC is reviewing its scholarships, with the current offerings changing from 01 September 2025. To ensure your students retain their existing scholarships, please encourage them to:
Submit all required documents as stated in their offer letter
Satisfy all conditions listed on their offer
- Accept their offer and make the required payment
- All the above must be completed by 31 August 2025. If a student’s acceptance is not finalized by this date, their application will be re-assessed based on the University’s new scholarship arrangements applicable from 01 September.
- Key updates for agents:
Outstanding documents including Genuine Student Survey must be submitted immediately to facilitate the ability to accept and pay by 31 August 2025.*
Encourage students to accept and pay before 31 August 2025 to retain their current scholarship.
- New applications received from 15 August will be paused and held until processing resumes on 01 September, at which point they will be assessed under the new scholarship arrangements.
- Applications already in progress will be processed to the offer stage to allow students time to accept before the deadline.
- We have paused application processing for Health courses and will resume processing from 01 September.
- *to ensure your students’ application can be assessed, an offer issued, and ultimately accepted, it’s essential that all outstanding documents are submitted without delay. Prompt submission of your documents is critical to give your application the best chance of progressing in time.
- This change is particularly relevant to the following student cohorts from 01 September 2025:

- Offers with 25% scholarships will be revised to 20% scholarships
- There will be ongoing eligibility criteria for all scholarships awarded to students commencing Semester 1 2026 onwards.
