This new policy offers more flexibility to applicants, allowing students to focus on improving scores in a particular subject andsubmit the updated single subject scoredirectly to the University of Adelaide, easily meeting admission requirements without having to take the entire exam again.

Academic English PEP Bridging Course

the University of AdelaideEnglish Language Centre(ELC)
also accepts IELTS One Skill Retake scores
as the basis for admission to PEP courses

We offerfor students who have not metthe minimum English language admission requirements for degreesAcademic EnglishBridging Course (PEP)as a pathway for further study. Thecourse durationdepends on the applicant's English proficiency test score. Upon successful completion of the required level of PEP course, students do not need to take the English test again before entering the university degree.

The table below lists theadmission IELTS requirementsfor various PEP courses and the duration most students need to meet the English language requirements for undergraduate or postgraduate courses (IELTS overall score requirement is 6.5). In addition, the school also accepts TOEFL, Pearson, and C1 Advanced test scores.
