1 Course Registration Reminder

Please remind students to complete their course registration as soon as possible, becauseSemester 3, 2024Census Date is approaching. Please note that each course has its own Census Date.


Students can view their Census Date by following these steps:

  1. Log in toEnrolment Online.
  2. ClickEnrol.
  3. Select the semester and clickContinue.


2 EAP Course EAL Score Requirements

International students completing Australian Year 12, who meet the academic and selection task requirements (if applicable) for their preferred Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree programs but do not meet the score requirement for English as an Additional Language (EAL) subject, may consider enrolling inRMIT UP's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program.


Details are as follows:

  • Students with an EAL study score of 23-24, are advised to takeRMIT UP's English Placement Test, to determine their English proficiency level.
  • Please note that applications will undergo final assessment, and eligible applicants will receive a packaged offer for the EAP program.


3. Semester 1, 2025 Course Updates

We are pleased to announce that RMIT University will offer new courses for international students in Semester 1, 2025. Please encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible!

Please note thatSemester 1, 2025Diploma of Nursing program (City Campus)has closed for applications.

We encourage students to consider other available courses or intake periods.

Applicants to the following RMIT accredited teacher education programs are required to complete theTeaching Suitability Assessment (TSA):

  • Bachelor of Education
  • Master of Teaching Practice (Primary Education)
  • Master of Teaching Practice (Secondary Education)

5. Celebrating the Official Launch of RMIT Franklin Street Campus

On October 10, 2024, **RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP)** held the official launch ceremony for its new campus and new name, welcoming many internal and external guests, including representatives from the international education agent community.

The new campus, developed in partnership withScape Australia, is a modern learning and accommodation facility for international students.Scape Franklinnow accommodates over 800 students, and RMIT UP has 9 floors here, providing dedicated learning spaces for English and pathway course students.




Our Semester 3, 2024 intake at RMIT is now underway, and we’re thrilled to welcome the new students to Melbourne. We’ve planned a range of activities to help them feel at home and supported as they begin their academic journey.

Additionally, I’d like to remind you to encourage your students to complete their course enrolments as the census date for the Semester 3, 2024 intake is drawing near. Please note that every class has its own census date. For students to see their census dates, they must:

EAL Study Score Entry Requirement for EAP Program

International students completing an Australian Year 12 qualification may consider undertaking English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at RMIT UP if they have met academic and selection task (if applicable) requirements for their preferred Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree programs, but failed to meet the study score requirement for English as an Additional Language (EAL) subject, please refer to the detail below:

Celebrating the Launch of RMIT UP: A New Era at the Franklin Street Campus

On 10 October, RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP) celebrated the official launch of its new name and Franklin Street campus. The event welcomed internal and external guests including members of our international education agent community.

The new RMIT UP campus, developed in partnership with Scape Australia, is a brilliant state of the art learning and accommodation facility for international students. Scape Franklin, housing over 800 students, is now joined by RMIT UP as we have 9 floors for our English and Foundation pathway students

The RMIT UP launch included speeches from RMIT UP Board Chair Mish Eastman and RMIT UP CEO Jake Heinrich, live jazz and a sneak peek of RMIT UP’s new visual campaign featuring characters created by leading Australian illustrator and street artist Brolga. Guests were also treated to a screening of our new campus video, featuring RMIT UP students, as well as a tour of our amazing facilities, which combine student connection and bespoke learning environments.

The launch marked a significant milestone in RMIT UP's 56-year history, promising an exciting future ahead. RMIT UP thanks all of its partners for their continued support.
