Notice of Adjustment of Application Deadlines for Some UNSW Courses in the First Semester of the 25th Year

Due to the high demand and to ensure that we provide a quality educational experience for our students, we will be adjusting the international application deadlines for some courses in advance, including the Master of Laws, undergraduate courses at the Business School, and UNSW Graduate Certificates and Diplomas. UNSW does not make such decisions lightly, and we will work with you to ensure that affected students are aware of the necessary next steps.
Courses affected by the adjusted online acceptance deadline
UNSW OnlineThe acceptance deadline has been adjusted to 11:59 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, October 2.

Update Overview
We understand the inconvenience this adjustment may cause, and we will work with you to inform all applicants affected by this change in the following ways:
Master of Laws, UNSW Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses acceptance deadline
- Final applications and outstanding documents must be submitted by 11:59 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, September 25, to be considered for admission in Term 1, 2025. Please note that the Master of Laws stopped accepting new applications on Wednesday, August 14. Applicants with outstanding documents who wish to be considered for admission in Term 1, 2025, must still submit these documents. The Admissions Office will prioritize the processing of applications for these courses. We are working as quickly as possible to assess valid applications, and it is expected that final admission notices for students with outstanding documents will be issued by Monday, September 30, to meet the acceptance deadline of Wednesday, October 2, mentioned below. If applicants fail to provide documents or receive application results by the deadline, they will automatically be moved to the next available intake period.
- Students holding full or conditional offers can accept their offers by 11:59 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, October 2. All current offer holders will be informed of the revised deadline, and we will provide them with alternative options they may wish to consider.
- Students who have already accepted conditional offers with a UEEC English package will not be affected by this adjustment, and the enrollment deadline remains unchanged.
UNSW Business School undergraduate course application deadline
- No new applications for the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Information Systems, and related double degree courses for Term 1, 2025, will be accepted after 4 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time on Monday, September 30. From Tuesday, October 1, the UNSW online application system will no longer display this intake period as a valid option. Any saved applications submitted after the deadline will be considered for the next available term.
- Active applicants who have not yet been assessed or have not received results will still be considered for this intake period.
- Applicants holding full offers and conditional packaged offers can submit any outstanding documents and accept their offers by the standard document submission deadline.
- Students who already hold an offer, including a deferred offer or a conditional offer, will not be affected by this adjustment.

Overview of updates
We understand the disruption this causes, and we will work with you to communicate to all applicants impacted by this change in the following ways:
Master of Laws, UNSW Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma programs acceptance deadline
1.Final applications and outstanding documents must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEST on Wednesday, 25 September in order to be assessed for Term 1, 2025.
Please note that the Master of Laws closed for new applications on Wednesday, 14 August. Applicants with outstanding documents are still required to submit these documents if they wish to be considered for Term 1, 2025 intake.
Assessing applications for this programs will be prioritised by Admissions. We are working as quickly as we can to have active applications assessed and expect final offers for those with outstanding documents to be provided to successful students by Monday, 30 September, ahead of the Wednesday, 2 October acceptance deadline noted below. If an applicant does not provide documents or receive an outcome on their application prior to the deadline, they will automatically be moved to the next available intake.
2.Full & conditional offer holders will have until 11:59 PM AEST on Wednesday, 2 October to accept their offer. All current offer holders will be informed of the revised deadline and we will offer them alternatives they may wish to consider.
3.Students who have already accepted a conditional offer with a UEEC English Package at UNSW College will not be impacted by these revisions and enrolment deadlines will remain unaffected.
UNSW Business School undergraduate application deadlines'
1.No new applications will be considered for the UNSW Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Information Systems & associated double degrees Term 1, 2025 intake after 4 PM AEST on Monday, 30 September. From Tuesday, 1 October, UNSW Apply Online will no longer show this intake as a valid option. Any saved applications that are submitted after the deadline will be considered for the next available term.
2.Active applicants that are yet to be assessed or have not received an outcome yet will still be considered for this intake.
3.Full Offer & Conditional packaged offer holders will have until the standard document submission deadline to provide any outstanding documentation and accept their offer.
4.Students who already hold an offer, including a deferred offer or a conditional offer will not be impacted by these revisions.
5.Sponsored students will not be impacted by this closure and will have until the Thursday, 31 October on-time application deadline to apply for Term 1, 2025 programs. These students should contact their regional manager for more information on how to apply.
