In the Graduate Diploma of Quantitative Biology, you will learn programming, statistical and mathematical modelling, machine-learning, high-performance computing, data visualization and communication skills. You will also learn how to apply these tools to basic and applied biological problems from bio-molecular to ecosystem levels. In your first semester, you will have the opportunity to take foundational courses to improve your basic understanding of biology and/or specific quantitative skills, as necessary. Following this, in your second semester you will take up to 4 core courses in quantitative biology, with course selection tailored to your interests and needs. [105699J]
