Holmesglen's qualified and experienced floristry teachers will assist you to achieve the skills you need to begin or advance your career in the retail or creative floristry industries.Floristry at Holmesglen has a strong design focus. Along with floristry techniques and customer relations, you will learn a variety of creative skills including drawing, visual display and event design.Student participation in floristry competitions is encouraged and you will be involved in creating Holmesglen's entry to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.At the completion of the course you will be a qualified florist in accordance with the National Industry Competency Standards for floristry and be ready to work in a retail or floristry related business.
